A Petition for Benefits under Florida’s Workers’ Compensation Law can be brought within two (2) years of your date of accident or within two (2) years of when you knew or should have known that you r injuries were as a result of a work related accident or activities.

Once you are beyond two (2) years from your date of accident, if you are receiving authorized medical care, then you have one (1) year between authorized medical treatment to bring a claim.
