First, and most importantly, obtain immediate medical care for anyone who has suffered injury. If possible, gather as much information as you can regarding each party involved in the accident as well as any potential witnesses. The information you should gather includes names, telephone numbers, addresses, insurance information and information regarding their vehicles. If you are able to do so, it is important to photograph the positioning and condition of the vehicles involved in the accident as well as the accident scene itself. You should also report the accident to your insurance company.
